Dr.-Ing. Kshama Shree Sen came to Netherlands from Nepal to pursue her Master degree in Biomedical Engineering after receiving the prestigious Erasmus Mundus-CEMACUBE scholarship. Before coming to Europe, she worked as a Biomedical Field Engineer at Shisas Trading Corporation, providing technical and biomedical support to various hospitals in Nepal.
She graduated with double degree from University of Groningen in Netherlands and RWTH Aachen University in Germany as a Biomedical Engineer. She also obtained her PhD from RWTH Aachen in the field of bone tissue engineering.
From 2015 to 2017, she worked as a scientific research assistant at the department of Dental Materials and Biomaterials Research (ZWBF) at RWTH Aachen University. With her biomedical background, she has experience in the field of tissue engineering with the focus on musculoskeletal repair, stem cells, hydrogel and 3D-printing technology. In April 2020, she started working as R&D manager at Hy2Care BV, where she is responsible for managing, coordinating and leading the R&D team, defining the R&D roadmap, implementing and overseeing development and characterization of new and existing hydrogels.
