Project and Operations Manager
Kim Sondeijker finished her bachelor degree in Travel Management and has more than two decades of working experience in several branches since then. She started her career in the business travel industry. After 8 years she switched her job to the banking industry where she worked in several positions for 7 years. That’s when she came across research and development in the medical devices industry.
During her years in the business travel industry she started as business consultant and worked her way up to senior consultant and office manager for VCK travel and BCD Travel. In that period, she studied Middle Management after working hours. Setting up working procedures according to ISO 9001, planning, coaching, reporting and sales activities were part of her job. After eight years she switched her career to the banking industry and worked for Rabobank for approximately 7 years as sales and product consultant in both the private sector as mortgages sector.
With her passion for human health, she decided to continue her career as MRI lab assistant, project and quality officer at Scannexus in Maastricht. Scannexus is an Ultra-High-Field MRI expertise center. Projects like implementing ISO 13485, setting up a quality and project management software system, enrolling courses, helping (clinical) study groups with MRI planning and coordinating the lab environment facilities were her responsibility. As she wanted to be even closer to the impact of human health, she started at Corporis Medical, a start-up that focuses on the development and commercialization of innovative medical devices for minimally invasive surgery. She started as project manager and eventually got promoted to clinical project-and operations manager. She worked in several disciplines like quality compliance, supply chain, sales, manufacturing, clinical trials, financing, operation planning, strategy, development and engineering. She contributed for the first in human and she submitted for regulatory CE marking (EU, MDR) and 510(K) (USA, FDA).
