Johan Jansen
CFO
Johan Jansen followed a master study in Business Economics at the University of Brabant in Tilburg, The Netherlands. He started his professional career in 1986 at DSM. He worked 29 years for DSM in different financial roles at different locations within Europe.
Johan was actively involved in the establishment and set up of DSM Biomedical, a new emerging business unit supported by the corporate innovation strategy. Some of the special and challenging projects in those years were the acquisition of a business unit in the USA and the foundation of a joint venture for DSM Biomedical. In his different roles at DSM, he participated both in several share deals with start-ups and divestments of smaller and bigger units. In 2016 Johan left DSM to start as independent consultant for SME’s. Two years later he joined Chemelot InSciTe, a technology institute for research and valorization of Biomedical projects.
